In the future, for new director names, it would be nice if we could treat the directory name as an indication of the sort name, and thus create proper values for Asian directors or groups.

fixed in changeset:pandora,2242. this will only use the sort for unknown names. all names that are currently in the system have to be fixed via Data->Manage Names...
