Can't select individual clips (and create edits of them) in View with Clips mode #2768

When in View with Clips mode (as opposed to as), I can't select individual clips, only entire scenes. I'm not sure whether this is by design. https://code.0x2620.org/0x2620/pandora/issues/2542 sort of implies that it is.

Also while in this view, New Edit from Selection is always greyed out. Even if I can't select individual clips, should I not be able to create an edit from the matching clips in the scenes I select, given that I can create a Smart Edit from the search results?

In "View with Clips", clips are not selectable. Only items are. There is currently no infrastructure for "sub-selections".
