If you select a bunch of scenes and start dragging, you can add them to an existing list, but not create a new list -- you have to go to the menu for that. It might be nice for a new list item to temporarily appear in the Personal Lists bin, rather than the user having to find List → New List from Selection.

For edits, the same thing might be nice – it doesn't help that New Edit from Selection is disabled when you have more than one clip selected (per https://code.0x2620.org/0x2620/pandora/issues/2243#comment:8).
