loading player/editor view with many annotations
makes Firefox not respond/crash. This is worse if visiting the first time (or cache is emptied before loading page)

possibly moving all api requests to a subdomain might make this more responsive since right now api requests and posters and other non video assets are all loaded from the main domain.
