It seems that for Pan.do/ra admins, checking their stats is fun.

"location" would be "City, Country", system "OS Version", and browser "Browser Version".

The python code for this is short, simple and straightforward.

The challenges are

one more dependency for python-ox (pygeoip, http://code.google.com/p/pygeoip/)
the geoip data file (http://geolite.maxmind.com/download/geoip/database/GeoLiteCity.dat.gz) has to go somewhere ... distributed with python-ox? configurable path?
as user agent strings evolve, and the parser is being adapted, we need an easy way to re-parse all exisiting user agent strings
